Subscriptions you’ll
actually remember.
PayPapi is a privacy-first subscription tracker for Mac — it lives in the menu bar, reminds you before every charge, and cancels in one click. I led the product design end to end: the macOS app and the website that sells it.

Know what you pay. Cancel what you don’t use.
The average person quietly wastes hundreds of dollars a year on subscriptions they forgot they had. PayPapi fixes that without asking for a bank login or an account — it’s a calm, native Mac app that tracks renewals, warns you before a charge, and points you straight to the cancel page.
It’s local-first: nothing leaves your machine, nothing syncs to a server. My job was to make a money app feel trustworthy and effortless — and to design the website that earns the download.

Make a money app people actually trust.
Subscriptions are designed to be forgotten. The product had to surface them clearly — and the brand had to feel safe enough that people let it near their finances.
The forgetting is the problem
Renewals, trials and quiet price hikes slip past everyone. The app had to make “what am I actually paying for?” answerable in a glance.
Trust without a login
Most finance tools want your bank credentials. PayPapi asks for none — so the design had to earn trust through clarity and restraint, not data.
Native or nothing
To feel like part of macOS — menu bar, vibrancy, native notifications — every detail had to match Apple’s bar. Anything less would feel like a web app in a costume.
One designer, the whole thing.
I owned the full lifecycle — the macOS product itself, and the website that gives it a face and a reason to download.
Define the product
Shaped what PayPapi is and isn’t — a calm, local-first tracker, not another dashboard demanding attention.
Design the app
The menu-bar experience, subscription tiles, reminders, trial tracking, cancel flow — native to macOS down to the system sound.
Build the brand
A confident green-on-black identity that reads premium and trustworthy, carried across product and marketing.
Design the website
A conversion-focused landing page that demonstrates the value in seconds and turns visitors into trials.
A landing page that sells in one scroll.
The site leads with the number that stings — what you’re wasting — then shows the product doing its job. Designed to make the download feel obvious.

Everything it needs — nothing it doesn’t.
Track & analyse
Renewals, trial countdowns and billing dates update automatically — and show you where your money actually goes.
Smart reminders
A native macOS heads-up three days before every charge, when you can still act. Snooze 1h, 3h, 1d, 2d.
One-click cancel
Direct link to the cancel page for 150+ services — colour-coded by how hard each one tries to keep you.
Price Watchdog
Notices when a subscription quietly raises its price — so you hear about it before your bank does.
Cancel Simulator
Tick what you’re thinking of cutting and see the exact yearly saving. Decide without doing the math.
Local-first
No account, no cloud sync, no tracking. Everything stays encrypted on your Mac — export to CSV anytime.
The problem is bigger than it feels.
“Your subscriptions remember. Even if you don’t.”
